Family of 4 located near Beverlywood is seeking a compassionate, patient, and engaging part-time Nanny/Family Assistant to support their two wonderful children, ages 8 and 10, while helping keep their household running smoothly. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with neurodiverse children and wants to make a meaningful difference in a family’s daily life. Both children are on the autism spectrum. Their 8-year-old daughter is high-functioning, while their 10-year-old son requires additional support with communication and daily routines.
DUTIES
- Provide engaging, hands-on care for two children with special needs
- School pick-up and transportation to therapies, activities, and appointments as needed
- Support daily routines, including feeding, dressing, toileting, and potty training
- Engage the children in creative play, outdoor activities, swimming, sensory play, and community outings
- Encourage emotional regulation, independence, and age-appropriate life skills
- Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks (no sugar)
- Children’s laundry and organization
- Grocery shopping, errands, and light family assistant duties
- Help keep the home organized and running smoothly
- Maintain open communication with the parents regarding the children’s progress and daily activities
LOCATION: Beverlywood Adjacent
SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday: 4:00 PM-8:30, Friday: 1:30 PM-8:30 PM, Occasional weekend help needed with advance notice
COMPENSATION: $35/hour DOE
REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive experience working with children with autism, ADHD, or other neurodiverse needs
- ABA experience strongly preferred
- Patient, calm, and emotionally intelligent
- Warm, energetic, and engaging
- Proactive, dependable, and highly organized
- Open to traveling with the family, passport ready
