A wonderful family of 3 in Lake Balboa is seeking a nurturing, experienced nanny to become a valued long-term member of their family. Their happy, curious 15-month-old son loves books, music, spending time outdoors, and learning through play. The nanny will focus primarily on child-related care while fostering developmental milestones through engaging, age-appropriate activities. DUTIES:
- Provide attentive, loving care for an active 15-month-old toddler.
- Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, including reading, music, sensory play, outdoor adventures, and creative learning opportunities.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child.
- Maintain consistent routines for meals, naps, and play.
- Keep children’s areas, toys, and belongings neat and organized.
- Child’s laundry.
- Load and unload the dishwasher as needed.
- Foster language development through conversation, reading, and interactive play.
- Communicate openly with parents regarding milestones, routines, and daily activities.
SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, coverage on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with flexibility to stay later on occasion for a date night.
COMPENSATION: $35–$40/hour DOE.
LOCATION: Lake Balboa, CA (San Fernando Valley)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive toddler experience with outstanding, verifiable references.
- Reliable transportation and excellent communication skills.
- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
- Update on TDAP and MMR Vaccinations
