Busy, single mom in Mid-City is seeking an experienced, steady, and compassionate family assistant to help care for her two children, ages 14 and 10, and bring structure, calm, and consistency to a household navigating significant life changes.

The 14-year-old son has emotional regulation challenges and benefits from a caregiver who is confident, grounded, and experienced supporting children with complex emotional and behavioral needs. He does best with clear expectations, firm-but-kind boundaries, and caregivers who understand behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques. The family currently works with a behavioral therapist several hours per week, and the nanny will be part of a broader support team. The 10-year-old daughter has attention and anxiety-related challenges and benefits from reassurance, routine, and a calm, supportive presence. She is bright, engaging, and does best when afternoons feel predictable and regulated.

Dad suddenly passed away two years ago and Mom is seeking someone who can truly be a partner in keeping the household balanced, helping maintain structure, get everyone to the table, assist with routines, and provide consistent support during after-school and evening hours.
