Their daughter is bottle-fed with a combination of breastmilk and formula and is at a precious stage of early development. The nanny’s focus will be entirely on baby-related care and engagement, as dad will handle laundry and bottle washing. Responsibilities include fostering age-appropriate development through tummy time, reading, gentle play, and encouraging movement and milestone growth. The family lives across from a park and looks forward to leisurely outings together. This role is ideal for a caregiver who values meaningful interaction and understands the importance of early infant development.
Both parents and grandparents are very involved, and the nanny must feel comfortable working collaboratively alongside family members for the foreseeable future. A team-player mindset, professionalism, and confidence in infant care are essential. The family has two small dogs (under 20 lbs) and an older, gentle pit bull who occasionally visits—lovingly described as “Nana” from Peter Pan—so comfort around friendly dogs is important.
Candidates must have experience with young infants, be CPR and First Aid certified, and be up to date (or willing to become up to date) on all standard vaccinations, including polio, chicken pox, COVID, flu, MMR, and TDAP. Proof of vaccination will be required. This is a wonderful opportunity for a compassionate, reliable nanny who thrives in a hands-on, family-centered environment and is excited to build a lasting relationship with a growing family.
