This loving Single Mother is seeking a warm, attentive, and grounded nanny to care for her 4 Month Old son! She lives in a very walkable neighborhood and has a spacious yard, the environment offers a beautiful setting for outdoor play and exploration as her son grows. She is looking for someone calm, sensitive, and nurturing who will support her son in meeting important developmental milestones through reading, tummy time, music, and other engaging activities. Responsibilities are focused on all aspects of his care, including keeping his nursery organized, doing his laundry, preparing his meals, and handling his dishes. No driving is required at this stage, making the position centered entirely on his well-being and development.
LOCATION: Thousand Oaks, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 9AM-1PM
COMPENSATION: $30-$35/hr Gross DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Recent Newborn/Infant Experience
- Willing to Take a Drug Test
- Up to Date on TDAP
- Reasonable/Maintainable Commute to Thousand Oaks
- Comfortable completing drug screening as a condition of employment
The ideal candidate will be CPR certified, TDAP vaccinated, and comfortable maintaining a safe and supportive environment. A second language is a wonderful bonus, and the family would welcome someone who can speak exclusively to him in that language, with a special openness to Italian, French, or Spanish. Strong communication is also essential, particularly in sharing relevant updates, such as exposure to illness when working around other children. She values a caregiver who is not only loving and attentive but also reliable and collaborative in their approach.
This position also includes the opportunity to travel, as Mom has a five-day trip out of state planned for the last week of October and would love for the nanny to join.
