New Parents in Malibu (Point Dume) are seeking a warm, experienced, and proactive part-time nanny/family assistant to care for their baby three days per week. The family currently has an NCS who will be wrapping up the first week of October, and they are looking for someone wonderful to transition into the role and provide ongoing support. The primary focus of the position will be caring for the baby and supporting their evolving routine and developmental needs. When Mom is spending time with or caring for the baby, they would love someone happy to shift gears and help with light Family Assistant tasks around the home. This could include running errands, washing and sanitizing bottles, organizing baby items, restocking supplies, and helping keep things running smoothly.
DUTIES:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for the baby
- Follow and support the baby’s feeding and sleep routines
- Prepare and clean bottles and other feeding supplies
- Engage the baby in age-appropriate activities and developmental play
- Keep nursery and baby areas tidy and organized
- Restock and organize baby supplies
- Run occasional family/household errands
- Assist with light organization and other Family Assistant tasks when Mom is caring for the baby
- Pitch in as needed to help the household run smoothly
LOCATION: Point Dume, Malibu
START DATE: Early October 2026
SCHEDULE:
- Monday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Wednesday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Friday: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
- 24 hours guaranteed per week, with flexibility to stay later on occasion with advanced notice
COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hr DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Five + years of professional infant experience
- Comfortable transitioning a baby from NCS care into a daytime nanny routine
- Warm, nurturing, engaging, and attentive
- Proactive and happy to assist with Family Assistant tasks when not needed with the baby
- Highly organized and able to take initiative
- Dog-friendly; they have an English Bulldog
- Reliable and punctual
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent references
- Open to travel, passport ready with advance notice
