Sweet family located in the Pico-Roxbury area near Beverly Hills is seeking a calm, patient, and organized nanny to assist with the care of their three young children: a 2-month-old baby, a 2-year-old toddler, and a 6-year-old boy. The position is Saturday + Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (great schedule that allows you to sleep in and have your weekend evenings free!). The mother is typically home and is currently the primary caretaker of her 2 month old, but is looking for an extra set of hands to help manage the household and support the children throughout the day.
The family’s oldest child has autism, so prior experience working with children on the autism spectrum is required in order to best support the family’s routines and collaborate comfortably alongside the ABA therapy team. As the baby grows older, the nanny’s responsibilities will gradually include more hands-on care for the infant as well. Their oldest child (6 year old) is usually busy on Saturday until about 6pm with activities and programs and on Sunday ABA help comes in the morning.
LOCATION: Pico-Roxbury (Close to Beverly Hills, CA)
SCHEDULE: Saturday + Sunday 10AM-6PM
RATE: $40/hour Gross (on payroll)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Infants-School Age Children
- Prior Experience Working with Children on the Autism Spectrum
- Up to Date on Standard Vaccinations Including TDAP, Flu, COVID etc
- Comfortable Committing to Weekend Schedule
The ideal candidate is someone calm, gentle, and patient, with a naturally quiet and steady demeanor. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a structured, peaceful environment are highly valued. The family keeps a kosher home and would appreciate a nanny who is respectful and mindful of this (they ask that you do not bring pork into the house, aside from that you are welcome to eat whatever you wish). The position does not currently require driving, though it may become a possibility in the future. Candidates must be up to date on standard vaccinations, including flu and Tdap.
