A warm and welcoming family based in Manhattan Beach is seeking a polished, professional, and highly organized full-time Housekeeper / “Jill of All Trades” to support their 7,000-square-foot home (approximately 5,000 square feet in regular use). The household includes two active girls, ages 8 and 10, and a new baby arriving in May 2026. A baby nurse will be in place for the first four months. The family also has two dogs and values a candidate who genuinely enjoys both children and animals and is happy to assist with their care as needed.
The home features four main bedrooms and four bathrooms (including a Jack and Jill), a basement level with a bunk room (six queen beds), theater, bathroom, and sitting area that is rarely used, a first-floor powder room, and a casita above the garage with a bathroom that requires occasional maintenance such as flushing toilets and running water. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of maintaining the home to an exceptional standard, creating and managing their own daily and weekly cleaning schedule without direction. Responsibilities include daily deep cleaning (mopping, sweeping, dishes, laundry, etc), polishing surfaces, detailed care of glass and windows, specialty fabric care, and proactive attention to areas that require upkeep. The family uses clean, non-toxic cleaning products and prefers someone who is tidy, Type A, and meticulous, with a natural inclination to slow down and focus on detail and quality.
LOCATION: Manhattan Beach, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: M-F 40 Hours/Week (6AM-3PM M-TH + Half Day on Friday)
RATE: $35-$40/hr Gross (on payroll) DOE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Detail Oriented Type “A” Personality

Morning responsibilities may include walking the dogs, preparing breakfast for the children, or picking up pre-ordered groceries using the family’s vehicle. Light child-related tasks and assistance with the dogs are part of the role as needed. The household employs a full-time nanny who also serves as a house manager and right-hand person to the family, so the ability to collaborate smoothly within a team environment is essential.
The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, and highly reliable, with a strong work ethic and excellent driving skills. Spanish fluency is strongly preferred, as the family would like the candidate to speak Spanish with their daughter.
