A warm, multicultural family in Calabasas is seeking a kind, engaging, and flexible Part-Time Nanny for their 14-month-old daughter. With a longtime Personal Assistant managing household needs, this role is focused on childcare, including preparing her meals, tidying play areas, and planning developmentally appropriate, screen-free activities and outings. The family has a creative lifestyle and changing schedules, making flexibility and a genuine interest in becoming a valued part of their family especially important.

LOCATION: Calabasas, CA

START DATE: Flexible for the right candidate

SCHEDULE: 30 guaranteed hours per week. The general schedule is Mon-Fri 10:00 AM-4:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional longer days, fewer workdays (ie, 3 10-hour days), occasional weekends or evening hours as family needs change.

COMPENSATION: $35/hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ Years of Toddler experience, with a strong understanding of developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities
• Current COVID-19 vaccination, willing to get boosters; Willing to meet any required health or vaccination requirements for international travel, if applicable
• Comfortable working in a home where parents are hands on, and in and out (ability to read the room)
• Pet-friendly; the property has an outdoor bunny
• Discreet and committed to maintaining the family’s privacy

The ideal candidate is thoughtful, adaptable, and genuinely inclusive, with a desire to build a lasting relationship with the family. Being bilingual is a plus, as is an openness to occasional domestic or international travel with the family, who work in the music industry; however, travel is not required.
