Wonderful first-time parents spending Dad’s off season in sunny California by way of Detroit are seeking a nurturing, reliable part-time temporary nanny to care for their sweet 6 month old baby girl in Manhattan Beach This is an ideal role for a nanny looking for a short-term commitment with a fantastic family and an easygoing, happy baby looking for an engaging caregiver who can help out during the day, playing, nurturing, and supporting her daughter’s routine while also helping with light household tasks during nap time.

DUTIES:

• Provide attentive, loving care for baby

• Engage in age-appropriate play and activities like daily walks to the park

• Support daily routine

• Light housekeeping during nap time (baby laundry, dishes, etc)

• Light meal prep

• Maintain open communication with parents

• General child-related assistance

LOCATION: Manhattan Beach, CA

DATES: ASAP-end of July 2026

SCHEDULE: 2 days a week (flexible) and 1 weekend day, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM ( with availability for date nights with advance notice, please also be open to some short-term travel

COMPENSATION: $35–$40/hour

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience caring for babies

• Comfortable around dogs, they have one friendly golden retriever

• Up-to-date TDAP and MMR

• Reliable, playful, and nurturing

• Strong communication skills

• Open to travel
