A high-profile family in Pasadena, California, is seeking a professional, part-time weekend nanny to care for their 2-year-old child. The child attends school Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., so this role will focus on weekends, with a schedule of 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday. The position begins as soon as possible and will be offered as a 6–12 month contract. The family is looking for an experienced, bilingual, and reliable candidate who is respectful of privacy and able to maintain strict discretion.

Core responsibilities include providing attentive, safe, and engaging care for the family’s toddler; planning age-appropriate activities such as reading, educational play, and creative engagement; preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks; and handling light child-related household tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying play areas. Communication with parents during scheduled hours will be conducted via a company-issued phone.

LOCATION: Pasadena, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)

SCHEDULE: Saturday + Sunday (8 Hours Per Day)

COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hour Gross Depending on Experience

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Recent Experience with the Toddler Age Group
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Up to Date on Vaccinations (TDAP, flu, COVID, etc)

This position is W-2 employment, with payroll handled in compliance with California household employer laws. Workers’ compensation coverage is provided. The role is part-time and primarily weekend-based, though occasional flexibility for special events or travel with the family would be appreciated.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of professional experience caring for toddlers and be CPR/First Aid certified. Candidates should also be up to date on vaccinations and legally authorized to work in the U.S. Bilingual ability is preferred, and experience with early childhood education, Montessori methods, or structured learning frameworks is a plus.

Professionalism and confidentiality are essential. Candidates must be comfortable working with discretion at all times and will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a non-arbitration agreement prior to employment.
