This warm and active family of five in Westwood, located just minutes from the UCLA campus is seeking an energetic, experienced, and safety-focused nanny to care for their fun and lively 5-year-old son! The youngest of three (with older siblings in 5th and 6th grade), he recently graduated from OT to support his gross motor development. He is allergic to wheat, eggs, and nuts- ALL candidates must be confident and comfortable using an EpiPen. Since both parents work from home and Mom handles the older children’s afternoon schedules, the nanny’s primary focus will be engaging one-on-one with their youngest. Responsibilities include walking to school pickup (just five minutes from the home), preparing snacks, supporting his evening and bedtime routine, assisting with bathing, transporting him to after-school activities, helping with occasional homework, and keeping his room and belongings tidy and organized. While Mom prepares most meals, their nanny should be comfortable sitting with their son to ensure he eats his food, and assisting if needed (he is a bit of a picky eater and needs patience and support) as well as managing light cleanup, doing his dishes, and maintaining a clean, kid-friendly environment.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8+ years of childcare experience, preferably with an early childhood background, and is warm, affectionate, proactive, and able to set kind but clear boundaries. They should be creative, hands-on and ready to get on the floor to play, plan engaging activities and crafts, and keep him stimulated with minimal screen time. Flexibility is important, as some days may start earlier or end later depending on extracurricular schedules. A confident/safe driver, a strong sense of safety, familiarity with local Westwood/UCLA-area commutes, and comfort in a no-shoes household are essential. Above all, the family hopes to find a trustworthy, energetic nanny who can truly connect with their son- filling his “attention bucket,” being a fun companion, and helping guide him through routines with ease and confidence.
