Outstanding opportunity for someone looking to work OVERNIGHTS for an amazing + sweet, retired seasoned professional in her early 80s. She has always been able to live independently, but is starting to slow down and needs more day-to-day companionship due to recent cardiovascular issues. Responsibilities will involve managing her evening and morning schedule, including driving her to any appointments and planning things to do (aka walks in the park, visiting local art museums, locating quiet lunch spots, etc., helping her with morning/evening routine, keeping her company and taking her blood pressure 3x/day). She loves reading while sitting in the sun, singing hymns and religious songs, and sipping afternoon tea. Ideal candidate is thoughtful, kind, intelligent, will enjoy singing + reading with her and discussing world events. You will also be responsible for tending to the home (light cleaning/tidying such as laundry + dishes – just day to day upkeep- they already have a housekeeper), cooking easy, healthy meals and anything else that pops up and needs to be taken care of. She is fully independent (No ADLs required) and does not need any assistance with using the restroom or bathing- this is purely a companion role at this stage! You do not need any special training or medical experience, just a warm and loving heart!

LOCATION: Miracle Mile, CA (Greater Los Angeles)

SCHEDULE: Guaranteed 4 Overnights/Per Week (Monday-Thursday); while the actual waking/working hours can be flexible for the right person, a typical shift would look something like this: 6PM-10PM + 7/8AM-11AM

ACCOMMODATIONS: Candidate will sleep in the spare room next door to the woman on their “ON” nights; during nights off and free time during the day, they will have their own private room/ kitchen/living room upstairs to retreat to which was just recently renovated

RATE: $50k/year+ FREE Housing in a BEAUTIFUL Home!

REQUIREMENTS:

· Team player attitude! Must be comfortable collaborating and keeping open communication with the woman’s friend who tends to her as well as the other caregiver who works the weekend shift

· Must be highly organized and detail oriented

· Impeccable driving record with reliable car

· Flexibility is required with advanced notice
