Extraordinary Jill of All Trades Needed in Brentwood Beginning ASAP for Wonderful Family of 3! The perfect person for this role has years of experience working in a hybrid position (fulfilling both nanny + family assistant duties), is highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive.

The ideal candidate for this role lives an active and healthy lifestyle, is passionate about childcare and children, and is looking to become an extension of SAHM who is very hands on! Their dream nanny has an understanding of child development, will be respectful of the family’s parenting philosophies (background in Montessori methods is a HUGE bonus!) and will be a true partner with them in raising their daughter. You shouldn’t be a nanny that just watches and observes, but instead be someone who is thoughtful about your interactions, who will engage their little girl, help her form good habits as she grows, and make her days whimsical and FUN!

LOCATION: Brentwood, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)

SCHEDULE: They are open to Full-Time OR Part-Time (based on your availability and preference). They can guarantee anywhere from 5-8 hours/day Monday-Friday (if full-time, they could also do Monday-Thursday) – they can be FLEXIBLE with the hours; candidates who are open to working additional hours on the weekends or at night on occasion is ideal!

START DATE: ASAP

COMPENSATION: $35-$45/hr DOE (top rate is reserved for the perfect person!)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Covid vaccine (including eligible boosters), annual flu shot + Tdap
• Master’s degree in Child Development (or related field)
• Bilingual speaker is ideal, but not required (Bonus points if it’s ASL)
• Family Assistant experience and familiar with the LA area

This job will involve good mix of nanny/family assistant work, so they need someone exceptional who will keep their home running smoothly and ensure their sweet + active one year old daughter is happy and well cared for! Childcare duties will include (but are not limited to) creating a stimulating environment for her to learn in, maintaining her daily routine, working to ensure she’s meeting all developmental milestones, preparing simple/healthy meals, bathing, keeping her actively engaged in play, and loving her like their own. When you’re not with their little girl (mom loves to dedicate time to her), the Family Assistant duties include tackling organizational projects (closets, pantry, sorting/phasing out of toys, etc.), scheduling vendors, cleaners + maintenance, running errands (grocery shopping, dry cleaning, car service, d/o packages at post office, etc.) kid laundry, loading/unloading dishwasher and tidying of common areas (family has a housekeeper for deep cleaning).
