Super sweet, down-to-earth family in Sherman Oaks is seeking a high-energy, organized, and proactive Family Assistant/Nanny to support their three children (ages 9, 8, and 6) and help keep a very busy household running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, enjoys problem-solving, and genuinely wants to become part of a family team. The children attend school in different locations. Driving and maintaining a clutter-free, organized environment are top priorities. The family already has someone who comes twice weekly for laundry and cleaning, but they need hands-on help managing daily clutter, organization, and cleaning up after dinner, emptying backpacks, etc. Parents work as a team, and the nanny will tag-team closely with Mom as her partner. This is a role for someone who is hardworking, capable, and ready to jump in, not entitled, but invested.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Morning and afternoon support for three children
- School drop-offs, pick-ups, and transportation to activities and soccer practice
- Packing lunches, food and meal prep, and family support errands
- Morning routines and afternoon/evening care (feeding children, bedtime prep)
- Daily reset of common areas; managing clutter and organization
- Two hours per day of focused on organizing, decluttering (timing flexible)
- Light child-related household support (dishes, tidying, prep for next day)
- Comfortable caring for a small, lovable family dog
LOCATION: Sherman Oaks, CA
SCHEDULE:
- Monday–Thursday Split shift
- Morning shift: 6:30 AM–8:30/9:00 AM
- Afternoon shift: 1:00 PM–7:00 PM
- One evening/date night per week, typically Friday or Saturday
- Flexibility required, 40 hours guaranteed weekly
RATE: $35–$40/hour, DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong driving skills; clean driving record and reliable car
- Highly organized; confident managing clutter and busy schedules
- High energy, hardworking, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable collaborating closely with parents
- Flexible, adaptable, and ready to jump in
- Special needs experience is a bonus, not required. Their two boys have high-functioning autism.
