A wonderful family of three in North Hollywood is seeking an experienced, nurturing nanny to care for their almost one-year-old daughter. As their daughter approaches her first birthday, the family is looking for someone who is experienced caring for children 12 months and older and can confidently support her through important developmental milestones. They are especially hoping to find a nanny who can guide the transition from bottles to cups and age-appropriate solid foods while encouraging language development, early independence, walking, and learning through play. The family follows an established daily routine and is looking for someone who will respect their caregiving philosophy while providing loving, attentive care.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Providing loving, attentive care for their almost one-year-old daughter.
• Following the family’s established feeding, nap, and daily routine.
• Supporting the transition from bottles/formula to cups and age-appropriate solid foods.
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child.
• Planning developmentally appropriate activities that encourage language development, independence, sensory exploration, music, reading, and interactive play.
• Providing close supervision as their daughter becomes increasingly mobile.
• Spending time outdoors within the family’s courtyard/property, including walks and age-appropriate outdoor play.
• Cleaning bottles, dishes, highchair, and child-related items.
• Children’s laundry.
• Light household tidying related to the child’s care, including loading/unloading the dishwasher, wiping counters, and folding laundry.
• Keeping the child’s bedroom, play areas, and common spaces neat and organized.
• Providing general child-related household assistance.

LOCATION: North Hollywood, CA

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM (20 guaranteed hours per week)

Open to occasional date nights with advance notice.

COMPENSATION: $35/hour DOE

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive experience caring for children 12 months and older.
• Strong knowledge of toddler development and developmental milestones.
• Experience transitioning children from bottles/formula to cups and solid foods.
• Confident supporting early language development, walking, independence, and age-appropriate routines.
• Comfortable following the family’s established childcare philosophy and daily schedule.
• Comfortable providing primarily on-property care, including outdoor time within the apartment courtyard/property.
• Reliable, patient, nurturing, and attentive.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Current Tdap and MMR vaccinations.
• Open to occasional travel (not required).
