Join an incredible repeat Westside Nannies family seeking an exceptional live-in nanny for their newborn arriving in August! This is a full-time, live-in opportunity supporting one newborn in a warm, loving, and fast-paced household with busy dual-working parents. While the family has older children, they each have their own dedicated nannies, so this role will be solely focused on the baby. The family is experienced in employing household staff and values professionalism, teamwork, and open communication. They will have overnight support for baby through the end of the year, but would love flexibility for occasional overnight shifts as needed. Accommodations include a private bedroom in bathroom in one of LA’s most beautiful neighborhoods! Responsibilities include providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care, establishing healthy feeding and sleep routines, bottle preparation and sanitization, diapering, soothing, engaging in age-appropriate activities, monitoring developmental milestones, baby laundry, nursery organization, keeping baby supplies stocked, sterilizing bottles and equipment, and handling all other baby-related childcare duties.
LOCATION: Santa Monica, CA (Private bedroom and bathroom provided)
START DATE: August/September 2026 (flexible for the right fit)
SCHEDULE: 50-60 hours/week; general schedule is 5 days/week, approximately 10-12 hours per day. Actual working days and hours will vary based on the family’s needs, so flexibility is essential. Occasional overnight coverage may be requested.
COMPENSATION: Target annual salary $80-100K gross, DOE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 5+ years of professional newborn/infant nanny experience
- Valid passport and willingness to travel approximately twice per year (typically one week at a time)
- Current Tdap and annual flu vaccinations (required)
- Comfortable living in and working within a fully staffed household
- Dog-friendly (family has a Golden Retriever)
- Exceptionally flexible with scheduling, including occasional overnight shifts
- Highly reliable, professional, and dependable
- Strong team player who communicates well with parents and household staff
