A private, HNW family in Arcadia, CA is seeking an experienced, warm, and professional full-time Live-In Career Nanny for their 1.5-year-old son. This is a long-term opportunity with a family who values collaboration, mutual respect, flexibility, and open communication. Both parents have demanding executive careers, and the household has an established support team, so the ideal nanny will be comfortable working as part of a collaborative childcare environment while also taking ownership of the child’s day-to-day care. The nanny will support morning and evening care (he will be in daycare Mon-Fri during the day), assist with transportation (using provided nanny car), provide engaging developmental activities, prepare child’s meals, manage child-related cleanup, laundry and organization, and help reinforce the family’s routines around sleep, nutrition, and development. Domestic and international travel is expected, and occasional/as-needed overnight assistance may be needed.
LOCATION: Arcadia, CA
START DATE: Flexible for the right candidate
SCHEDULE: Full-time, live-in. Weekday mornings and evenings surrounding the child’s Monday-Friday daycare schedule. The nanny will generally be off-duty while the child is at daycare, with limited child-related preparation, errands, or appointments only when specifically agreed upon. Occasional/as-needed overnight assistance will be required, but regular nightly coverage is not anticipated. Please be open to occasional weekend support upon request.
COMPENSATION: Target annual salary of $120–160K gross DOE. You will have beautiful private first-floor live-in suite with a furnished bedroom, walk-in closet, private spa-style bathroom.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Significant professional experience caring for infants and toddlers; 10–15+ years is preferred
- Strong driving record; vehicle will be provided for all on-the-job driving
- Comfortable working in a live-in environment
- The family has a pool; you should be comfortable around water; strong swimming skills are not required
- Fully vaccinated: MMR, Tdap, annual flu vaccine, and COVID-19 vaccine
- Valid Passport; willing & able to travel (domestic/international)
- Strong knowledge of child development, health and safety, and age-appropriate activities
- Discreet and highly professional, with excellent judgment and respect for confidentiality
- Comfortable working collaboratively with involved parents and additional family support
