DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Full-day care for the younger child
• Preschool pickup and safe transportation for the older child (family vehicle provided)
• Afternoon care for both children, including outings and age-appropriate activities
• Preparing simple, nutritious vegetarian meals and snacks for the children
• Managing children’s laundry and maintaining organized routines
• Keeping play areas, bedrooms, and children’s belongings tidy
• Supporting nap schedules and restful transitions throughout the day
• Guiding children through big emotions using calm, developmentally appropriate approaches
• Maintaining a screen-free caregiving environmen
LOCATION: Venice, CA
SCHEDULE: Typical schedule is 9:00 am–5:00pm with flexibility to stay later on occasion, come on a weekend with advanced notice
COMPENSATION: $35–$40/hour gross DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong experience caring for two young children close in age
• Confident managing both toddler and preschool developmental needs
• Naturally calm, patient, and emotionally attuned caregiving style
• Highly engaged with children — enjoys creative play, outdoor time, and routine-based care
