Sweet Family in Beautiful Marina del Rey is seeking a kind and gentle nanny for their 3.5 month old baby girl a few afternoons each week! They are hoping to find a compassionate caregiver will understand that their baby is still getting comfortable with new people and is currently very attached to her mom, so patience and a warm, calm presence are essential as she slowly warms up. Mom is a stay-at-home parent and will often be nearby, creating a collaborative, tag-team environment where the nanny can support the baby with soothing, play, and attentive care.
LOCATION: Marina Del Rey, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: Tuesday, Wednesday + Thursday from 12PM-5PM
RATE: $40-$50/hour Gross (on payroll)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Infants
- Up to Date on TDAP + Annual Flu Shot
- Bilingual in Russian or Ukrainian (lovely, but not a hard set requirement)
The schedule is part-time—Tuesday through Thursday from 12 PM to 5 PM—and the role will mostly take place inside the home for now (no driving or stroller outings yet). In addition to caring for the little one, the nanny will lend a helping hand around the kitchen—washing dishes, cleaning bottles, and doing light tidying (no deep cleaning required). If the nanny enjoys cooking, that would be a wonderful bonus—helping prepare simple meals for the parents now and eventually for the baby as she grows.
The ideal candidate is kind, calm, empathetic, and flexible in their approach—someone gentle rather than rigid or strict. Being bilingual in Russian or Ukrainian would be lovely but is not required. Candidates should also be up to date on their TDAP and annual flu vaccinations.
