First-time parents in West Hollywood are seeking a warm, experienced, and proactive full-time nanny to care for their 6-month-old daughter. This is primarily an in-home childcare role with a strong focus on infant development, maintaining a consistent daily routine, preparing baby’s meals, and creating engaging, age-appropriate activities. Once signed up for classes/activities, mom will take her to those, and have you assist with other tasks during that time. The family lives in a highly walkable neighborhood ideal for stroller walks, so please enjoy getting fresh air! With several hours of independent naps each day and weekly housekeeping , the family is looking for someone with a collaborative, family-assistant mindset who can help with light household upkeep during downtime while always prioritizing the baby’s needs. The family hopes to find a long-term nanny who will grow alongside them.
LOCATION: West Hollywood, CA
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (45 hours weekly), with applicable overtime paid.
COMPENSATION: $32–$35/hour, DOE, on payroll, plus applicable overtime. Target annual compensation of approximately $79,000–$86,000, inclusive of overtime.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of professional childcare experience, including strong infant and toddler experience.
- Extensive knowledge of infant development, age-appropriate activities, and developmental milestones.
- Current Tdap and flu vaccinations required
- Comfortable using the baby tracking app to document the baby’s schedule, sleep, feedings, and daily routines.
- Proactive, organized, and capable of managing a baby’s schedule independently while maintaining clear communication with parents.
- Willing to assist with light household tasks, including household laundry 2–3 times per week, making beds, wiping down surfaces, unpacking grocery deliveries, loading and unloading the dishwasher, vacuuming, and maintaining tidy common areas.
- Must genuinely love children and demonstrate sound judgment, discretion, honesty, reliability, and professionalism.
The ideal candidate is gentle, intelligent, confident, and emotionally attuned, with the ability to read the room and anticipate the family’s needs without requiring direction. They are creative and engaged with the baby, take initiative naturally, and understand that childcare always comes first, with household tasks handled as the baby’s schedule allows. The family values kindness, warmth, trustworthiness, dependability, and a collaborative working relationship with a parent who works from home. They are looking for someone who is attentive without being overly chatty, takes pride in their work, and is interested in building a lasting relationship with the family. If you are an experienced infant nanny who brings warmth, initiative, and professionalism to your work and is excited to grow with a family long-term, we would love to hear from you! Please apply with your resume and relevant experience for consideration.
