A warm and welcoming family in Mar Vista is seeking an experienced and dedicated career nanny to care for their growing family. They have a sweet 1-month-old baby and an energetic 2-year-old boy, who will be starting preschool soon. Mom will be on maternity leave until December 2025, and the family hopes to welcome a third child in the near future, so they are looking for a long-term caregiver who can provide stability and continuity through these exciting years!
LOCATION: Mar Vista, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
COMPENSATION: $30-$35/hr Gross DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Newborn + Toddler Experience (ideally 10-15+ years)
- Dog Friendly (they have one small dog in the home)
- Up to Date on Vaccinations like TDAP, COVID, etc.
- Valid Drivers License- they have a car you can drive during work
- Comfortable Preparing simple + healthy meals for the children
The ideal candidate will bring 10–15+ years of experience working with both newborns and toddlers and will be confident in supporting developmental milestones, fostering independence, and creating a nurturing and engaging environment. Responsibilities will include preparing healthy, creative, and nutritious meals for the children, tidying up after them, ensuring the general living areas stay neat + tidy, wiping down counters, and managing their laundry. A nanny car is provided for school pick-ups, outings, and activities, and the family requests that their caregiver live within a reasonable commuting distance to Mar Vista to ensure a sustainable routine.
This family also has a very small, elderly dog—a gentle 14-year-old mini pinscher who mostly keeps to herself, sleeps much of the day, and does not require nanny care.
