A discreet UHNW family who reside in Malibu approximately 80% of the year and Silicon Valley the remaining 20%, with travel throughout the year, seeks an exceptional Weekend & Travel ROTA Manny/Family Assistant to join their established childcare team supporting two delightful children, ages 2 and 11. This is a fully staffed, highly organized household with extensive childcare, educational, and household support systems already in place. This role will primarily be caring for their 11-year-old son. Responsibilities include providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care; supporting routines and activities; fostering independence and life skills; assisting with children’s laundry, wardrobe management, inventories, travel preparation, and scheduling; collaborating closely with the Head Nanny, educators, and household staff; and providing seamless domestic and international travel support. The family values professionalism, discretion, and a team-oriented approach within their detail-driven environment.
LOCATION: Malibu, CA & Silicon Valley, CA; extensive domestic and international travel throughout the year
START DATE: ASAP
SCHEDULE: Friday–Monday (4 full days). This concentrated long-weekend schedule is a core, non-negotiable component of the role.
- Week A: Live-In | Friday 6:00/7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 PM (24-hour coverage)
- Week B: 12-Hour Coverage | Friday–Monday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Travel is required as needed. When traveling for extended periods, the schedule will transition to a ROTA arrangement.
COMPENSATION: Target annual salary of $180,000, with opportunities for additional compensation for travel and additional hours worked. Full benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional manny experience
- Experience with both toddlers and school-age children
- Valid passport w/prior travel experience
- Excellent organizational and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, shared digital systems, and WhatsApp
- Team oriented & well versed in fully-staffed home environments (including security detail)
- Willingness to wear a uniform (provided)
