Calling all active, energetic, and flexible career nannies! A wonderful high-profile entertainment family currently in Los Feliz is seeking an experienced nanny to join their long-standing household team and care for their two daughters, ages 4 and 7. The family plans to relocate to Hidden Hills by January 2027. The family currently employs another full-time nanny, and the two nannies will partner to provide seamless coverage for the family, covering for one another as needed but working separate shifts rather than being on duty at the same time. This is a busy household with significant travel, so flexibility is key! The ideal candidate is active, hands-on, and genuinely enjoys running around and engaging with young children while also being happy to pitch in when the girls are at school. Discretion and confidentiality are essential.
DUTIES:
- Full childcare for two girls, ages 4 and 7
- School drop-offs/pickups and driving to activities
- Engaging the girls in active, creative, and age-appropriate play
- Working collaboratively with the family’s other longtime nanny
- Children’s laundry and organization
- Light housekeeping and tidying while the girls are at school
- Simple meal/snack preparation for the children
- Keeping children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings organized
- Helping wherever needed to keep the children’s day running smoothly
- Traveling with the family, including trips of up to two weeks at a time
- Occasional overnights and weekends
LOCATION: Los Feliz, CA → relocating to Hidden Hills by January 2027
SCHEDULE: Minimum 40 hours/week, with two days off per week and approximately two weekends per month.
COMPENSATION: $35–$45/hour DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong professional nanny experience
- Experience with preschool and school-aged children
- Newborn experience strongly preferred as the family may grow
- Confident managing 2–3 children independently
- Active, energetic, and physically able to keep up with young children
- Highly flexible with schedule, weekends, and overnights
- Must be willing and able to travel for up to two weeks at a time
- Excellent driver; nanny car provided
- Comfortable with light housekeeping and children’s laundry
- Comfortable working as part of a fully staffed household
- Comfortable with one dog
- Teaching/educational experience a plus
- Spanish-speaking a major bonus
- Highly discreet and respectful of confidentiality
