Wonderful return clients in Hancock Park are seeking an incredible evening Nanny or Manny for their 9.5-year-old son who is on the Autism Spectrum. He is a very sweet, loving kid, with tons of energy, and we placed the nanny who works with the family full-time 9 years ago, who is like family now. He is not aggressive or violent (towards others or himself) but he needs eyes on him at all times, as he’s easily distracted, puts things in his mouth, and is known to walk off; as dad said, “Imagine a 3-year-old in a 9-year-old’s body.” In this role, you will spend the evening helping him “wind down” in his room and get ready for bed. This will include reading books, doing puzzles, listening to music on the iPad, playing with him, and getting him to bed. He is slow to bladder train (almost got it, but struggles and has accidents from time to time), and requires prompting to get him to go to the bathroom helping him with his pants, and washing his hands, please be up for the task!
LOCATION: Hancock Park, CA
SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm – HUGE plus if you’re open to 6 days a week (not required)
COMPENSATION: $35-40/hr gross
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Vaccinated: Annual flu shot required + Covid (initial series + boosters)
