Bright, engaging, and detail-oriented Family Assistant/Nanny NEEDED for the Sweetest Pacific Palisades family with 2 girls, ages 9 and 11! If you thrive in a fun, cheerful, and fast-paced environment with lots of autonomy, keep reading! This role is comprised of 50% assistant tasks and 50% childcare, and you will be the “glue” holding everything together. You will be responsible for creating your own schedule to complete tasks in a timely manner and should be efficient, innately helpful, skilled in anticipating upcoming needs, and have great follow through, as there will be little to no oversight once you’re onboarded. They are looking for a go-getter who can get things done; from 10 am-2 pm you will tackle household/assistant tasks – think researching and planning extracurriculars and summer camps, scheduling children’s appointments (doctor, dentist, immunizations, passport renewal, haircuts, etc), managing household vendors (plumber, landscaping, repair/maintenance, gathering quotes for various projects, etc), event planning/prep, running errands, dry cleaning, keeping track of Amazon subscriptions and grocery delivery, managing children’s wardrobes, purchasing/wrapping gifts, car maintenance, etc. From 2 pm-6 pm, you will be on kid duty, which is always a good time. Duties will include school pick up (using the provided nanny SUV), driving to activities, overseeing homework, preparing healthy snacks and simple meals for the kids, engaging in play, and light housekeeping pertaining to their activities.
LOCATION: Pacific Palisades, CA
SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 10 am-6 pm + occasional evenings, weekends and overnights (with advanced notice)
COMPENSATION: $35-45/hr gross DOE
