Nestled in LA’s stunning Holmby Hills neighborhood, a warm, high-profile family is seeking an experienced, proactive, and engaging live-in nanny to care for their 3 active and sweet children (ages 9, 7, and 4). This is a long-term role that offers stability, flexibility, and a beautiful private living setup! The family is expecting a 4th child in August, though full care for the baby has already been arranged with a baby nurse, so this role will remain focused on the older children. The family has a fully staffed home, including housekeepers and a house manager, allowing this position to stay centered around childcare, organization, and providing flexibility and consistency for the family’s busy lifestyle. This is a split-shift role beginning around 7:30am, where you’ll assist with the morning routine, breakfast, occasional school/camp drop-offs, errands, and child-related household tasks including children’s laundry, dishes, tidying, and organizational projects. The afternoon/evening shift resumes around 3:30/4:00pm and includes after-school pickups (nanny car provided), homework support, transporting children to activities/tutors as needed, engaging play, assisting with dinner and evening routines, and managing bedtime (ending around 8:00pm). The overall goal is to help these busy working parents maintain a calm, organized, and positive home environment for their adoring kiddos! This is a Monday-Friday role and you will be fully off on weekends (the family has excellent weekend support in place), though you are welcome to remain on-site during your time off if desired. **Family is open to either a full-time live-in arrangement (7 days/week) or a Monday-Friday live-in schedule.**

  • Local candidates are strongly preferred, though the family may consider the right out-of-state fit.

The ideal candidate is kind-hearted, calm under pressure, emotionally mature, and truly loves being around children. This family is looking for someone who will become a positive, steady presence in their children’s lives — someone playful enough to jump on the trampoline and shoot baskets with and stay actively engaged, while also modeling strong values, warmth, respect, and good character. The right nanny will be communicative, drama-free, grounded, and deeply present with the children rather than distracted by phones or social media – if you have a strong social media presence, this likely is not the right fit. The family highly values honesty, positivity, flexibility, and peaceful energy in the home, and hopes to find someone who wants to grow with them for years to come. If you’re an experienced career nanny seeking a collaborative, long-term live-in opportunity with a thoughtful and generous family, we’d love to hear from you!
