Awesome family in Venice, Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and developmentally minded Nanny to care for their sweet 2-year-old boy during the evening hours! This wonderful opportunity is ideal for a candidate with an early childhood education background and/or extensive experience caring for toddlers, particularly boys ages 2–3. The family is looking for someone who genuinely understands the toddler years and can bring patience, creativity, and confidence to each interaction, using positive communication, gentle guidance, and age-appropriate redirection to help their little one navigate this exciting stage of development. Responsibilities will primarily center around providing attentive, hands-on childcare, engaging him in fun and enriching play, assisting with dinner, and guiding him through bath time and his bedtime routine. The schedule will be approximately 4:00 PM to 8:00 or 9:00 PM, making this a lovely opportunity for a childcare professional seeking a part-time evening position with a wonderful family!

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong Understanding of Early Childhood Development and age-Appropriate Communication and/or Background in Early Childhood Education
- Montessori training or Montessori-style experience preferred
- Fully Vaccinated (standard vaccines, MMR, flu, COVID)
The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and passionate about fostering a positive relationship with their young charge, creating a calm, supportive, and enjoyable evening environment. Health and safety are a top priority; candidates should be fully vaccinated, including standard childhood vaccines, MMR, annual flu shot, and COVID vaccinations. A valid driver’s license is required, though no driving is involved. The family also has a small pool on the property, and light water play or swimming may be introduced in the future as the child gets older.
