Awesome family in La Cañada Flintridge is looking for a dependable, flexible part-time nanny to help keep their busy household running smoothly! They have three wonderful children—a fun-loving 5-year-old boy and sweet, independent 10-year-old boy/girl twins—and are hoping to find someone who will become a trusted extra set of hands as they head into the new school year.
The primary focus of this role will be caring for the family’s energetic 5-year-old, who loves parks, crafts, water play, and staying active. He’ll need transportation to activities, plenty of outdoor adventures, and a caregiver who understands the unique emotions and milestones that come with the preschool/kindergarten years. While the youngest will be the priority, the ideal nanny will also be happy to jump in with the older twins whenever needed. The twins are kind, creative, curious, and very self-sufficient, with busy schedules full of sports and extracurricular activities.
LOCATION: La Cañada Flintridge, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: Tuesday-Thursday + either Monday OR Friday (from 1:30-5:30pm//2pm-6pm each day). Plus one later evening/date night or weekend daytime shift per week.
RATE: $30-35/hr Gross
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Kindergarten Age Group
- Strong Driving Record a MUST
This role is all about teamwork! Mom is often balancing multiple pickups and activities at once, so she’s looking for someone who can pivot as needed, share responsibilities, and help wherever the day requires. In addition to driving the children to and from school and activities, the family would love help with light tidying, simple meal prep, and folding and putting away laundry to keep the household running smoothly.
The schedule will be approximately 20 hours per week, with afternoon hours Tuesday through Thursday, an additional afternoon on either Monday or Friday, plus one consistent evening date night or weekend daytime shift. A family vehicle is available for use, or the nanny may drive their own vehicle if preferred.
