Family of 4 in West Hollywood with two boys, ages 4 and 1.5, is looking for a warm, proactive Part-Time Morning Nanny/Family Assistant to join their busy household! The family already has a wonderful full-time nanny primarily dedicated to their younger son, and they are now looking for someone who can focus primarily on their 4-year-old and help make mornings run smoothly as Mom returns to corporate work this fall.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the preschool age, enjoys being part of a team, and is happy to jump in with family assistant tasks once school drop-off is complete. Mornings will include preparing breakfast, packing lunch, helping their son get dressed and ready for the day, and driving him to school in the family’s nanny car. After drop-off, you’ll help with errands, grocery shopping, light household organization, and simple meal prep for the children. The family travels frequently, particularly to New York, and would love someone who has the flexibility to travel with them when needed. There is also the opportunity for additional hours through weekend coverage and date nights.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Helping with the 4-year-old’s morning routine and getting him ready for school
- Preparing breakfast and packing school lunches
- Laying out clothing and keeping mornings organized and on schedule
- School drop-off and child-related driving
- Running errands and grocery shopping
- Simple meal prep for the children
- Helping plan easy, healthy meals and lunches for the week
- Keeping children’s belongings and spaces organized
- Providing general Family Assistant support after school drop-off
- Occasionally assisting with both children as needed
- Traveling with the family when needed
- Providing occasional weekend and date-night childcare
LOCATION: West Hollywood, CA
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-11:30 AM, with flexibility to provide occasional weekend or date-night coverage with advanced notice.
COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hour DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong professional nanny experience, particularly with preschool-age children
- Warm, engaging, and confident personality
- Proactive and comfortable taking initiative
- Reliable driver with a clean driving record; nanny car provided
- Comfortable with simple children’s meal preparation
- Organized and happy to assist with errands and Family Assistant duties
- Passport ready and ableto travel with the family with advanced noticed, not required but preferred
- Comfortable working collaboratively alongside the family’s full-time nanny and household staff
- Dog-friendly; family has a 25-lb Pomeranian/Husky mix
- Water safe and comfortable around a pool
- Flexible for occasional weekends and date nights
