Sherman Oaks family seeks an energetic, hands-on Weekend Nanny to care for their three young children- a spirited 3-year-old boy and adorable 2-year-old boy/girl twins. This loving family is looking for someone who truly enjoys the toddler years and can confidently keep up with three active little ones while creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment. The regular schedule will be Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM–7:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional later evenings or extra weekend hours to accommodate date nights. The family hopes to welcome their new nanny in August and is excited to begin interviewing right away.
The afternoons follow a predictable and enjoyable rhythm. The children typically nap from approximately 2:00–2:30 PM before spending the rest of the afternoon playing indoors or outside, followed by dinner, bath time, and bedtime routines. The ideal nanny will naturally step into this routine, encouraging imaginative play, outdoor adventures, age-appropriate activities, and plenty of movement. The oldest child is newly potty trained, while the twins are still in diapers, so confidence managing multiple young children at different developmental stages is essential. This role is perfect for a nanny who thrives in a busy household and genuinely enjoys staying active. The family is seeking someone who can confidently manage all three children at once, remain calm in the midst of toddler energy, and prioritize engagement over screen time. They have a strict no cell phone and no earbud policy while on duty, as they value attentive, interactive care and want their nanny to be fully present with the children at all times.

Responsibilities include preparing simple meals for the children, such as reheating prepared food or making easy lunches and dinners like sandwiches or pasta. A nanny who enjoys cooking is welcome to incorporate simple cooking projects into the children’s day as a fun learning activity. The family also has a pool, and while the children have not yet begun swim lessons, they would appreciate a nanny who is comfortable providing attentive supervision during future pool time. At this stage, driving is not expected, as parks and neighborhood activities are within walking distance.
As their family’s needs continue to grow, the parents may eventually hire a second nanny. Because of this, they are looking for someone who is genuinely collaborative, communicates well, and enjoys working as part of a caregiving team. A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to share responsibilities seamlessly with another nanny are incredibly important. If you are an engaging, safety-conscious professional who loves energetic toddlers and is excited to become a valued part of a warm, appreciative family, this could be a wonderful long-term opportunity. They are eager to interview and can’t wait to meet you! Apply today!
