Calling all adventurous, energetic, and team-oriented nannies! A warm, active, high-profile Brentwood family is searching for an outstanding ROTA Nanny to join their incredible childcare team. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity working alongside a team of experienced nannies in a fully staffed household, where collaboration, professionalism, and positivity are highly valued. Your primary focus will be on 2-3 children, ages 6-10, while also providing occasional guidance and support to the older children (teens), including homework oversight and helping keep everyone on track. No two days are the same – you’ll spend your time creating engaging activities, planning fun outings, encouraging learning through play, supporting school routines, preparing simple meals and snacks, and helping keep the children’s spaces organized and running smoothly. The family loves to travel, so you’ll have the opportunity to accompany them on exciting trips throughout the year. LOCATION: Brentwood, CA
START DATE: ASAP
SCHEDULE: Rotational schedule of 3 days on / 4 days off or 4 days on / 3 days off. Typical working hours are 6:30 AM-8:30 PM on scheduled workdays. Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed and be flexible to travel with the family.
COMPENSATION: $35/hour gross on payroll, plus overtime, with an annualized compensation of approximately $110,000. The family also provides a work vehicle, work phone, 40 hours of paid vacation annually, and premium pay for major holidays. (Health insurance is not provided.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional nanny experience
- Experience caring for schol-age children
- Outstanding parent references (references must be from parents, not assistants or business managers)
- Passport-ready and available for travel
- Clean driving record (nanny car provided)
- Strong swimmer
- Dog friendly (no pet care required)
- Comfortable preparing simple meals for the kids
- Team-player mentality with experience collaborating alongside other household staff
- Resourceful, proactive, and highly organized
- Happy to assist with child-related household support and light housekeeping tasks
- Lives within a reasonable commute to Brentwood to reliably begin work at 6:30 AM
- College education preferred
- Previous experience in a high-profile or fully staffed household is strongly preferred
