Love organizing and getting a home in order? Wonderful family of four has just relocated back to Brentwood from North Carolina and is looking for a temporary Family Assistant to help them unpack, organize, and settle into their new home. This is a great short-term opportunity for someone who is organized, efficient, proactive, and loves creating order out of chaos! The family needs an extra set of hands to work through boxes, unpack household items, organize closets and drawers, put belongings away, break down boxes, and generally help get the home functional and organized after their cross-country move.
DUTIES:
- Unpacking boxes and household belongings
- Organizing closets, drawers, cabinets, and storage areas
- Putting household items away in their appropriate places
- Helping organize children’s clothing, toys, and belongings
- Breaking down boxes and packing materials
- Light household errands as needed
- Helping the family get settled and the home running smoothly
- Pitching in wherever needed throughout the unpacking/organizing process
START DATE: ASAP (6-week assignment)
LOCATION: Brentwood, CA
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 9-5
COMPENSATION: $30–$35/hour DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Efficient and able to work independently
- Proactive, someone who sees what needs to be done and jumps in
- Comfortable unpacking, lifting/moving boxes, and being on your feet throughout the day
- Positive, easygoing, and happy to pitch in wherever needed
- Previous Family Assistant, household organization, personal assistant, or similar experience preferred
- Reliable and punctual
