A warm and busy family in View Heights (adjacent to North Inglewood) is seeking a nurturing, intuitive temporary nanny to support their 10 months old baby, during a particularly demanding work period. This is a short-term role starting ASAP through June 2, ideal for a calm, supportive caregiver who respects an attachment-style parenting approach.
Duties Include:
- Providing attentive, loving care for infant
- Holding and soothing during naps (lap-based contact naps)
- Diapering, feeding, and following baby’s cues and routine
- Maintaining a calm, supportive environment
- Light baby-related tidying
Dates: NOW-June 2
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:15 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $35/hr
About the Role:
Mom works from home and is looking for a kind, steady presence who can seamlessly step in to support the baby’s daily needs. A large part of the role will involve holding the baby for naps (often 1–2 hours at a time), so someone patient, nurturing, and comfortable with a more hands-on, connected caregiving style is essential.
The ideal candidate is gentle, nurturing, and emotionally intuitive, with a calm presence that helps both baby and mom feel supported. They respect an attachment-style parenting philosophy and are comfortable with hands-on care, including extended contact naps. This person is collaborative and encouraging—able to share their experience in a kind, non-judgmental way without being directive or critical.
