A discreet UHNW family with residences in Malibu and Silicon Valley seeks an exceptional Live-In Weekend & Travel ROTA Nanny/Family Assistant to join their established childcare team supporting two delightful children, ages 2 and 11. This is a fully staffed, highly organized household with extensive childcare, educational, and household support systems already in place. Responsibilities include providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care; supporting routines and activities; fostering independence and life skills; assisting with children’s laundry, wardrobe management, inventories, travel preparation, and scheduling; collaborating closely with the Head Nanny, educators, and household staff; and providing seamless domestic and international travel support. The family values professionalism, discretion, and a team-oriented approach within their detail-driven environment.
LOCATION: Malibu, CA & Silicon Valley, CA
START DATE: ASAP
SCHEDULE: 4-Day Live-In; Friday 6:00 AM – Monday 7:00 PM, including regular overnight coverage and travel as required. This concentrated long-weekend schedule is a core, non-negotiable component of the role. Schedule will switch to ROTA when traveling for extended periods of time.
COMPENSATION: $45–$55/hour DOE, with flexibility for exceptional UHNW and travel experience; target annualized compensation of approximately $180,000.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience
- Experience with both toddlers and school-age children
- Valid passport w/prior travel experience
- Excellent organizational and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, shared digital systems, and WhatsApp
- Team oriented & well versed in fully-staffed home environments (including security detail)
- Willingness to wear a uniform (provided) and refrain from makeup and fragrances while on duty
