A warm and loving Chatsworth family is seeking an exceptional Nanny/Private Educator to support their bright, imaginative, and engaging 10-year-old daughter as she embarks on an exciting new homeschooling journey for 5th grade. This unique role is perfect for a nurturing educator, experienced nanny, or child development professional who enjoys blending academics, mentorship, organization, and enrichment into one rewarding position.
Beginning in August 2026, the selected candidate will work four days per week from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, following a traditional school-year schedule with holidays and breaks aligned with the academic calendar. The family’s daughter will be enrolled in an accredited online homeschooling program that provides live virtual instruction, curriculum, one-on-one teacher support, and academic advising. During the morning academic hours, the Nanny/Private Educator will serve as her learning coach, helping her stay focused, engaged, organized, and on track throughout her online classes and assignments. The ideal candidate will be confident collaborating with teachers, academic advisors, and educational support staff to ensure the student is thriving. Because the family is mindful of some emerging attention and focus challenges, they are seeking someone patient, encouraging, and proactive who can help create structure, reinforce positive study habits, and advocate for the child’s success when additional support may be needed.
LOCATION: Chatsworth, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)

SCHEDULE: 4 Days/Week, 5 hours a day from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 8:30am-1:20pm, please be flexible (20 hours/wk)
COMPENSATION: $40-$45/hr Gross
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience/Background in Education, Tutoring + Nannying
- Availability to Commit to Part-Time Schedule for the School Year
- Confident Driver + Valid License
- Available to Start in August 2026
- Experience working with children who have ADD preferred
