Calling all newborn-loving nannies! A warm, welcoming family is seeking a nurturing and attentive nanny to help care for their precious 1-month-old daughter during this special season of infancy. The family is looking for a collaborative caregiver who will partner closely with them as they navigate first-time parenthood and establish healthy routines for their daughter. The baby is a happy, easygoing little girl who primarily lets everyone know when she is hungry or needs a little help with gas. She is bottle-fed with a combination of pumped breast milk and formula, follows a typical newborn feeding and sleep schedule, and enjoys being held and comforted throughout the day. She is beginning to show some signs of reflux, so thoughtful feeding practices, thorough burping, and keeping her upright after feeds are important parts of her care. Responsibilities will include all child-related tasks, including feeding, diapering, soothing, supporting sleep routines, tracking daily activities in the Nara app, and providing plenty of loving interaction, cuddles, and age-appropriate engagement.
LOCATION: Beverly Glen, Los Angeles
START DATE: ASAP
SCHEDULE: 4 Days (Mon/Tues/Thur/Fri) 9:30/10:00 AM – 2:30/3:00 PM (20–24 hours per week); the position has the potential to expand to full-time in the coming months
COMPENSATION: $35-40/hr gross DOE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Recent newborn experience
- Strong understanding of newborn feeding, sleep, and developmental needs
- Comfortable utilizing a Snoo bassinet
- Dog and cat friendly with no pet allergies (2 huskies & 1 cat)
- Current Tdap, MMR & Initial COVID-19 vaccine series required; Annual flu vaccine & Covid boosters preferred
- Must avoid heavy fragrances, perfumes, and strongly scented products, including detergents and personal care items
