A wonderful family visiting Los Angeles by way of Australia for work is seeking an experienced, warm, and reliable nanny to care for their sweet 8-month-old baby for the month of October. They are looking for someone highly experienced with infants who can confidently step in, learn the baby’s routine, and provide loving, attentive care throughout their stay. Full-charge care of an 8-month-old, including maintaining nap and feeding schedules, bottle/meal preparation, age-appropriate play and developmental activities, keeping baby areas tidy and organized, and providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Parents will be working from home during portions of the assignment, particularly Australian hours, so candidates should be comfortable working alongside involved parents while also being confident transitioning to independent care.
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA
DATES: ASAP-October 31
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. 40 hours per week guaranteed. Some flexibility with daytime hours would be greatly appreciated, with as much advance notice as possible.
COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hour DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive infant experience
- Warm, engaging, attentive, and safety-conscious
- Comfortable with naps, feeding routines, and infant meal preparation
- Flexibility with scheduling when given advance notice
- Current TDAP (including pertussis/whooping cough) and MMR vaccinations
