First-time parents in Beverly Grove (Mid City) are seeking a loving, experienced part-time nanny to care for their sweet 7-month-old daughter. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with babies and is looking for a temporary position. The family is looking for a nurturing, engaging nanny who will focus on their daughter’s development while providing an extra set of hands during the day for Mom.
DUTIES
- Provide attentive, loving care for a 7 month old baby
- Engage in age-appropriate developmental play
- Take the baby on walks and spend time outdoors
- Assist with naps and maintaining daily routines
- Fold and organize the baby’s laundry
- Keep the nursery and baby areas neat and organized
- Prepare bottles and wash baby items as needed
LOCATION: Beverly Grove (Mid City)
SCHEDULE: Approximately 3 days per week, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM or 11:00 AM-3:00 PM. The family is flexible with the days and hours and would appreciate occasional date night coverage with advance notice.
COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hour DOE
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous baby experience required
- Warm, nurturing, and engaging
- Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate milestones
- Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
- Up-to-date on Tdap and MMR vaccinations
- Comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home mom
- Comfortable with one friendly family dog
